San Martino di Venezze

Located along the course of the Adige and already frequented in the Bronze Age – as evidenced by the archaeological finds in the locality of Saline preserved in the Museum of the Great Rivers of Rovigo – the territory of San Martino di Venezze is characterized by a large number of large rural courts . Even today these courtyards fulfill the function of nerve centers for the agricultural works that characterize this area, also supporting transformation and hospitality activities.

The most famous are: Villa Venezze Giustiniani (Ca’ Venezze) from the 16th century, Corte Barbariga from the 18th century.
